Welcome to Cares KZN, a Non-Profit Company dedicated to transforming the lives of people in Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa. Our mission revolves around welfare, humanitarian efforts, and disaster relief projects.
OUR INITIATIVES
Crèches for Africa
Enhancing and equipping underprivileged crèches to support Early Childhood Development (ECD). This involves continuous teacher training, facility improvement, and creating engaging play and learning spaces, coupled with basic healthcare provisions.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
Collaborating with local hospitals and clinics to uplift marginalized communities. Our focus includes basic health checks, first aid training, and support for healthcare workers. We also provide education and training for women regarding GBV and rape. This includes information, practical self-defence skills, basic counselling and referral to professionals and organisations.
beauty for ashes
Our community project for 2024 aims to educate and bring hope to women and girls affected by rape and GBV.
Basic toiletry and comfort items are packaged and distributed to clinics, communities, NPOs and police stations.
To date over 3000 women have been educated and referred to professionals, rape centres, counsellors.
Our goal is to distribute 400 boxes and make over a trauma room, as well as partner with government to reach victims. This project is ongoing.
Disaster Relief
Responding swiftly to specific situations by providing and distributing essential items such as food, water, blankets, and more.
Feeding Schemes
Empowering communities through income-generating projects and skills training for self-sustainability.
Implementing feeding schemes for children and youth.
Distributing food parcels to families in need.
Life Skills Training
Addressing diverse community needs, from self-care to employment skills, through comprehensive life skills training programs.
